Congratulations on welcoming home your new family member, you are in for a lot of fun as you get to know each other.  Bringing a puppy into your home is always an exciting decision but it can also be nerve-racking.

You have more than likely been waiting for this moment for a long time. You have visions of all those things you and your new family member are going to do together.

Without a doubt having a dog is hugely rewarding but it isn't always smooth sailing, it can be hard work. Often it can be overwhelming and you might even ask yourself the questions is this normal? or even What have we done!

That's where The Dogworks™ comes in with our Puppy Academy at Home and Puppy Pathways programmes.

We are here to support you and your pup every step of the way, helping you understand each other and providing guidance along your training pathway. We won't pretend you won't face challenges or have your buttons pushed but you aren't on your own and we can guarantee we have been through it all before with the dogs who have shared our hearts and homes.

Course Summary

You can choose between Puppy Academy at Home, Supported Puppy Academy at Home and Supported Puppy Academy with Dayschool depending on which suits you and your pups needs.

At the centre of each option is our Puppy Academy at Home 8 week self study course, with short training videos and PDF's for you and your puppy to work through together and at your own pace. You have access to the course throughout your puppy's first 12 months and beyond so you can return to the course as often as you want. Price £127

With Supported Puppy Academy at Home you have weekly access to one of our Dogworks trainers via Zoom or telephone depending on what suits your needs. Your calls are arranged at a time to suit yourself and we are there to answer any question you may have from your pups training to is this normal! We are with you every step of the way. Price £297

Supported Puppy Academy at Home with Dayschool, available for those within travelling distance of our Kilwinning (KA13) centre, gives you all of the above but with the addition of 4 weeks of coming into our daycare for either 2 or 3 days a week. Your puppy with have chance to brush up their training skills with their trainer as well as having the chance to socialise with a variety of dogs in a safe and appropriate way. Please note places are limited as we want to ensure your puppy has the best of experiences with us. Prices start from £595

You also have the option of adding additional trainer time, either in person within travelling distance of our centre or online should you need it.

We also provide both group and 1:1 tailored sessions to meet the specific needs of you and your dog.

Based in Kilwinning, North Ayrshire, our experienced team is here to help you understand your dog better and enjoy the lifestyle you’ve always wanted to share.
